Susanne Eugster, CEO and Guide
Suzanne who was instrumental in developing Creative Western from its outset in 1993 is leading it together with her passionate team to the next level. Suzanne has great taste and imagination and is particularly gifted for the design of beautiful and unusual experiences in nature and in culture. Her love and connection to the Natural World takes her into the wilderness winter and summer. She also has a strong interest in the spirituality of First Nations and practices some of its aspects under the guidance of Native Elders. She is currently furthering this interest by pursuing a MA in Transpersonal Psychology with concentration in Ecopsychology with Naropa University in Boulder Colorado. And if she needs even more balance in life, she'll jump on the bike and rides with the wind, or gets on the skis and makes beautiful tracks in the pristine powder.
| Manuelle Prunier, Business Development Manager & Guide
Manuelle is in charge of CWA's British, French-speaking and Italian-speaking markets. With her passion for travel, nature and in-depth cultural experiences, she previously spent many years leading walking tours in Europe and Africa. She holds an MSc in International Development and is specialized in tourism development for the benefit of local communities. Her work as a Sustainable and Community-Based Tourism Consultant with the European Union and NGOs has led her from horse and hiking trails on the Wild Coast of South Africa to rainforest National Parks in Gabon and Indigenous mountain villages in Mexico. With this experience and her first-hand knowledge of ecotourism markets, she is in an excellent position to understand the aspirations of visitors seeking authenticity while making sure that local communities benefit from the presence of our guests.
| Jasmin Ogroske, Office & Marketing Assistant Manager
Having studied International Tourism (BA) in Germany and the UK and done her practical training with Creative Western in 2008, Jasmine decided to join us on a full-time basis in 2009 as an Office & Marketing Assistant Manager. This is to the greatest delights of many of our clients as she has been praised all along. She is involved in developing customized proposals and itineraries and supports us at shows and with other marketing related issues. Her strength lies in the balance of great administrative skills, a sound ability in decision-making and yet an extravert and natural talent to communicate with our clients professionally in a very caring way. In her free time she loves to spend time in the outdoor to discover nature and culture. One of her passion is music as she played with a band in Germany.
| Karin Gerritsen, Web Developer and Guide
Fluent in both Dutch and English, Karin narrates city tours for Dutch and Belgian groups for Creative Western Adventures. In another life she runs her own IT company (www.semper-it.com) which specializes in home/office IT services, web design and development, scientific programming and research consulting. If you like this CWA web-site, you may want to contact her! She holds a Ph.D. in Medical Science which she puts to use at The University of Calgary every year to teach a senior undergraduate course in Biomechanics (with an emphasis on musculo-skeletal modeling and computer simulation of human movement). Karin also runs the Junior Development Program of our local orienteering club (www.orienteeringcalgary.ca). Other than that, she's quite busy with three little ones at the moment!

Ignaz brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in organizational development and management through his life long years of experience as a financial advisor and business owner. Working more behind the scenes, his work is crucial. His expertise in finances and keeping the books in order brings all of us peace of mind. He is very diligent in all the things he does. His passion for the game of golf takes him from the Alberta golf courses to the warmer destinations during the cold Canadian winters. His love for his children and grandchildren in Switzerland take him back on a yearly basis.
| Eldon Preston, Graphic Designer
Eldon is Woodland Cree, and English in heritage, status Indian belonging to the Opawiskiwan Cree Nation. Eldon grew up in Saskatchewan and has a Commerce degree from the University of Saskatchewan - majoring in Leadership Management. Eldon's creative mind has also brought him to study Digital Media at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology. Eldon is also very involved internationally. He has been working for the past 5 years with Indigenous Communities in Guyana and New Zealand doing community development. He is specialized in communications, teaching computers, developing strategic and also business plans for eco-tourism projects. Eldon has also worked in developing websites and videos to showcase community initiatives. Currently, Eldon is a full time student at the University of Liverpool, and is working towards his MBA in E-Business.
