Escapes Ecologicos is a tour operator that specializes in nature and adventure tours. Escapes offers a wide variety of services:
Fully escorted escapes: Two-day to 15-day tours designed to visit many places within the country in a circuit fashion. These tours are ideal for those who would like to visit as many places as possible during their stay in Costa Rica. Tours includes fully bilingual all land transfers in air conditioning luxurious vans, several meals and entrance fees.
Escapes on your own wheels: These packages are designed for the more adventurous tourists, who would like to see Costa Rica at their own pace. These packages include airport-hotel-airport transportation, hotel accommodations and car rental. Costa Rica is a small, safe country, with excellent public services (phone, electricity, hospitals, etc.) and a fairly good highway system. All this insures safe commuting to all tourist attractions.
Student's escapes: The younger generations also have a taste for traveling, and are prepared to welcome them in Costa Rica. Escapes Ecologicos has predestined tours for students, based on occupancies of two to four people per room.
Short escapes: Shorter one to three-day tours designed to fit special interests such as sportfishing, bird watching, agrotourism, whitewater rafting, hiking, horseback riding, etc.
Conventions and seminars: Escapes Ecologicos can help you organize such events in Costa Rica. They work with first-class hotels in San Jose City or at the beach, with excellent facilities and fully equipped convention rooms for a service that will meet the most demanding requirements of participants.

Payments Accepted
Reservation Policy
Reservations should be made at least four months in advance, especially during high season (November to May and July), to insure transportation and accommodations. Once the beneficiary approves the package, reservations will be made upon deposit of 25% of the total cost. Payment of the remaining 75% is due 30 days prior to arrival date. If final payment is not received by the required date, the deposit will be forfeited by our agency. Full payment will be required if booking is made within 30 days of arrival. Confirmation is subject to availability of services when full payment is received by Escapes Ecologicos.
Payments must be deposited in Escapes’ account with the Banco Internacional de Costa Rica (BICSA), Miami Agency, P.O. Box 111002, Miami Florida 33111, U.S.A., account #101024547 under the name of Lilliana Bonilla Esquivel, and then faxing a copy of the deposit slip.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be done in written. A 100 % charge will be applied to those cancellations made a week prior to the first date of client’s arrival to Costa Rica. 50% charge will be applied for those cancellations made within two weeks prior to the first date of arrival. The amount of $35.00 service charge will be applied to those cancellations made 30 days prior to the first date of client’s arrival. No refunds will be made once clients have started their programs. No refunds will be made for those not taken portions by client’s durings their trip.
