Galit and Alon Kafry – Founders
We are Galit and Alon Kafry from a small village in Israel. We were born in 1970 and we have four kids: two girls and two twin boys. Both of us worked in the high-tech world for ten years and after leaving it, we built our own ecotourism business which deals with tourism and ecology—both very important subjects to us. Galit studied industrial engineering and in more recent years she has dealt with ecological issues such as building with mud, organic farming and pottery. Alon has studied biology and psychology and traveled in many countries, including rural areas such as Papua New Guinea and Micronesia.
We have a lot of experience in traveling with all levels of budgets—from luxury boutique hotels to accommodations that are just a few dollars per night. We believe the most important thing is interacting with local people, making friends and exploring authentic ways of living; none of these depends on budget. We let you decide how luxurious you want your trip to be; though we believe that a vacation must provide comfortable, clean accommodation and excellent meals.
We think that the region of Galilee is one of the most interesting and enjoyable areas to visit in Israel, from historical, georgafic, nature and calture aspects. Israel is a very expensive country to travel in; but we try to offer reasonable packages that use local resources to reduce costs. We tailor-make packages for every budget and we are ready to take on any challenge. We love kids! So families with children are more than welcome. Israel offers many things to do for every age.
See you in Galilee.
