What's different about a Roads Less Traveled tour?
Roads Less Traveled tours are small groups only - maximum eight people. This offers a more intimate feeling and allows guests to stay at smaller out of the way places (such as the charming farmhouses). It also allows guests to participate in local activities and hands-on experiences that could not work with larger, more traditional tour groups. Roads Less Traveled believes guests enjoy travel when it's on a more personal level. A special evening of wine drinking with a table full of colorful locals or that moment when you feel like you're the first tourist to explore a beautiful valley or hill town. You'll get to meet the locals on many destinations. Roads Less Traveled doesn't shy away from many of the popular sites, but tours offer up a generous portion of those smaller "off the beaten path" places.
Hand-Crafted, Not Pre-Packaged
Too many tour companies just resell packages or create copy-cat itineraries based on existing tours without putting any thought or research to try make a better tour. Roads Less Traveled enjoys creating tours from scratch: investigating and handpicking all sights, restaurants, hosts and hidden corners of these countries to explore. Every year, Roads Less Traveled finds new things to incorporate into future tours.
Small Group Tours
Roads Less Traveled strives to offer unique and quality tours for small groups and don't offer set dates, so you can pick the right time for your tour group. To price tours competitively, Roads Less Traveled needs a minimum of four guests for each tour. So gather up a few of your friends, family or loved ones before contacting Roads Less Traveled.
From time to time, there are some open spots on tours. Roads Less Traveled will post those available spots for either couples or singles on their website.
